Picture Earth helps people see the big picture.

Out of the Blue’s principal co-founded a sustainability engagement nonprofit startup, Picture Earth, with the mission to use art to advance greener attitudes and behavior. She led development and operation for Picture Earth’s first program, Earth From Above, a $4 million North American-touring, public art exhibition and ESG storytelling platform for corporates, municipalities and NGOs.

We aligned strategic partnerships with the featured artist, UNEP goodwill ambassador Yann Arthus-Bertrand, NYC City Hall, Bryant Park Corporation, Manhattan Community Board 5, NYC & Co (tourism), MetLife, BlackRock Properties, Rutgers University, major media companies, NYC government agencies, and others.

A highlight included our team securing a partnership MOU with Rutgers University’s Business and Environmental Science schools. Through this partnership, Rutgers committed to raising $9 million for Earth From Above’s national tour and education program rollout, and key engagement integrations throughout the university system, the State of New Jersey, and with alumni networks worldwide.

In addition to the Rutgers commitment, we secured over $3 million in value, including a $320K-valued joint agreement with MetLife and BlackRock Properties, and $2 million in media from JCDecaux, National Geographic Channel and Time Warner Cable. We accomplished these deliverables despite the challenges of the post-2008 recession, which included donated park-adjacent real estate for an education center, a solar energy array to power the exhibition and then donate to New York Public Library, and much more.

Out of the Blue’s founder also co-developed “See the Big Picture,” the multichannel promotional campaign for Earth From Above and its partners, including writing, editing and content strategies. We designed comprehensive campaign integrations for MetLife’s $5B renewables investment and Time Warner Cable’s “Connect a Million Minds” STEM initiative planned for rollout in the NYC metropolitan area.
