Out of the Blue’s founder most recently worked for OptiRTC, the first and leading real-time climate-adaptive control technology for managing stormwater. As the creator of continuous monitoring and adaptive control (CMAC), Opti’s technology manages storms to mitigate floods, combined sewer overflows (CSOs), and downstream erosion — adapting infrastructure to protect our streams, rivers and waterbodies from hydromodification; safeguarding our watersheds and communities from polluted runoff; and capturing stormwater for reuse to drive community resilience.
Sivan joined Opti during a branding and marketing overhaul, including website relaunch, case study expansion, and national strategy implementation. She helped Opti find its brand voice and drive narrative in content strategy, planned and implemented regional marketing strategy, managed strategic accounts, and collaborated with a team that increased lead generation 5-10X YOY.
Through her strategic account management, Sivan opened up project pipeline potential for real-time, adaptive control integration with the world’s first in-harbor, climate-adaptive, multi-use residential community and research hub. She also provided Opti and its investor, Aliaxis, a presentation opportunity with key decision-makers on the heels of an historic affordable housing expansion in New York City, and secured an invitation-only technology and expertise showcase for Opti and its solution design partner with multiple NYC agencies during Climate Week 2024.
Finally, Sivan was pivotal in rescuing two new projects by securing key insights and navigating multi-stakeholder dynamics. She also identified close to 250 new opportunities for Opti retrofit projects with an existing County-level client.
